Since its founding on July 30, 1953, the U.S. Small Business Administration has delivered millions of loans, loan guarantees, contracts, counseling sessions and other forms of assistance to small businesses.

The Governor’s Office of Economic Development accomplishes this mission through the administration of programs that are based around industries or “economic clusters” that demonstrate the best potential for development. Their Mission: To nurture an environment where Utah companies can be successful and the business community can create jobs that raise Utah’s citizen’s standard of living.

The USBDC specializes in consulting and training services for qualifying small businesses. The Utah SBDC also offers a wealth of small business related resources including market research, referrals to specialized partners, and valuable networking opportunities.
